A Team Effort

Operation Spark is Louisiana's only non-profit software bootcamp. We're committed to growing diversity by making a career in tech accessible for everyone. Join us to make a difference in the lives of our students and their families.

Education

Operation Spark partners with public high schools to provide students with a functional understanding of software development. Our Teacher Academy offers professional development for educators to bring our programs to their classrooms. After graduation, our certifications are accepted for transfer credit at Tulane's SoPA as well as community and technical colleges throughout Louisiana.

Employers

Our employer and economic development partners not only hire our grads for great jobs, they also ensure our curriculum reflects current trends in the industry. Partners play an important role in our dev shop program, providing real-world projects and contract opportunities that allow our grads to build a portfolio of work that demonstrates the skills gained at Operation Spark.

Community

Partners like the United Way of Southeast Louisiana, the Urban League of Louisiana, the Louisiana Department of Child and Family Services, and local workforce development agencies provide funding, professional and life skills training, financial literacy education, and support programs that help students complete our high-skills training and confidently launch new careers.

Funding

As a non-profit, the majority of our operating revenue comes from philanthropic funds. State and local grants, as well as individual donations are important components of our annual budget, providing funds for student assistance and new program development. Our diverse portfolio of supporters ensures our program remains accessible to everyone with the desire to become a software engineer.
